Introduction

Motivation

With lightweight Docker containers, simulations of a vast number of computers have been made easy. This project aims to use that possibility to build software that enables to configure and set up network environments. Those environments can be used like network laboratories to play with router configurations without access to physical devices. There is no risk of breaking the hardware and the environment may be quickly reinitialized or reconfigured.

Features

The project delivers you a GUI which enables you to:

  • add clients and routers through just a few clicks
  • define networks in your virtual network topology
  • define connections between machines
  • save & restore your design
  • download your project so it could be run on a different computer
  • run & clean up the environment configured by you through a single click

Completion Status

All the features are ready and available to use, yet the project is not considered released.
